Cavallo Point San Francisco Wedding – Bridget and Dan

I had the pleasure of photographing Bridget and Dan’s wedding in San Francisco at Cavallo Point. I’ve know Bridget for some time now. We first met at Corey and Chris‘s wedding in 2005. That was the first wedding I ever photographed in San Francisco. One of my other clients was in the bridal party as well. So Bridget was in charge of taking all the husbands, boyfriends and tag along photographer out on the town. I’m proud to say she introduced me to Bourbon and Branch one of my favorite bars in in the world. If you haven’t been you should check it out.

The wedding was amazing and I am so glad to have been a part of Bridget and Dan’s day. Dan and I got along instantly when we met at the engagement session. My buddy Jared was in town so we hit the town with them afterwards. We went to Absinth, Aziza, and PPQ Dungeness. Their favorite bar is Absinth and Dan is a lover of Bourbon and Scotch as well. I had the craziest drink at Aziza called Concord Grape. It was as purple as Barney, smelled like a #9 peaty Scotch and yet was so smooth and sweet like Elderflower. AMAZING!

Check out some of my favorite images from the day.

What beautiful photos! Congratulations to Bridget and Dan on their special day. I’ve been looking into Cavallo Point for my own wedding so it’s fun to see actual images of other weddings that have been held there. Their offerings (http://www.cavallopoint.com/weddings.html) seem really generous and it’s awesome to be immersed in the stunning San Francisco scenery as well. Thanks for sharing these!

Holy-Moley are these ever wonderful wedding photos! Fantastic job!

Excellent photos, again. Especially black and white picture of the couple and that gorgeous sky. How did you do it?

Congrats, Bridget and Dan! What beautiful photos and a beautiful wedding. Cavallo Point seems like such a great wedding location from what I’ve read (http://www.cavallopoint.com/weddings.html) and these pictures definitely confirm.

Killer location and you nailed it. Couple walking in front of houses with flare thru trees is awesome.

Pumpkin Fall Wedding, Lindsay, California – Corrie and Brad

Here’s a gorgeous fall pumpkin wedding in Lindsay, CA. I’ve know Corrie since college and it was an honor for me to photograph her and Brad on their special day. Brad is in the milatary and they are stationed in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. He recently deployed for 1 year. I deeply respect and admire those who serve in our armed forces. I come from a strong heritage of Sizemores that served this great nation. May our prayers and blessing go to those fighting for our freedom so we don’t have too.

Labor Day Camping

Here’s a little post from September when the family and I went camping for 10 days before school started. We did 4 days in Mammouth, 3 in Tahoe, and 3 in Napa. Our camp in Mammouth was amazing because we didn’t use a campground. We got a fire permit and went a few miles back into the National Forest to escape the Labor Day weekend craziness. We also fished a couple days on Convict Lake. It was a great place to teach the boys and rent a pontoon to cruise around on the open water.

On the way from Mammouth to Tahoe we stopped and toured Bodi. I love history and seeing a real ghost town was awesome. We learned so much about the gold rush and the history of that unique town. Tahoe was freezing cold but we toughed out three nights in the high winds and occasional shower. Rain shower… We were looking forward to a nice HOT camp shower but the hot water was broken. We didn’t find out until we loaded the machine with quarters and the water never heated up. Thanks for the “Out of Order” sign rangers!

Then we moved over to Napa for two reasons; wine tasting and warm weather. Who knew there were so many family friendly wineries. We hit about 5 total including: Plumpjack, Sterling, W.H. Harrison and more… We also visited the old Grist Mill in St. Helena.

There’s nothing I love more than to cook over an open fire!

I love your camping cupboard/foodbox in pictures 4917. I have to know where did you buy it? We have something similar when I was in Boy Scouts but our Troop made ours.
