I’m looking forward to another year at WPPI and my 5th annual Mentor Session. The shoot will be on Tuesday, Feburary 21th. It will be off the strip but transportation will be provided. More details for the session will come closer to WPPI.

Don’t let the baseball theme fool you… This shoot will be fashionable, grity, throw-back and fun! Think 20-30s New York or Chicago and Golden Era baseball.

Langham Hotel Wedding – Save the Date, Ella and Sam

I have a wedding on Saturday, September 17th at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena. The bride and groom have a Hollywood/Entertainment theme for their event. So for the grand entrance they are walking a red carpet and having a step and repeat. The coordinator had the idea of creating a paparazzi style entrance. Their Save the Date was a recreation of a entertainment tabloid.

The entrance is set for 6PM so everyone can start arriving by 5:30. Please bring your camera and flash set up to recreate the glamour of the red carpet walk.

The couple is going to provide pizza and drinks for everyone. We can use it as a B School get together. I’m sure I’ll have some downtime to eat and hangout as well. It’s also a great chance to check out a great hotel.

MAD MEN Engagement Session – Ashley and Anthony

It’s MAD MEN week! Here’s the highlights video from the Mentor Session 2011 in Las Vegas at WPPI. Toward the end of the week I’m posting my an engagement book design from the shoot. 2010 WPPI Mentor Session

I finally got around to finishing all my processing from the Mentor Session in Las Vegas. We had an amazing group of people and I want to thank everyone involved. Summer of Grey Likes Weddings made a great post a couple days ago. My models/clients/friends Diane and Kevin just got married last weekend in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at an amazing place called Villa Verono. Anna our bride model was a bridesmaid and in full effect! I look forward to getting those images out soon, enjoy.

Hey Everyone,

I’m offering a private one on one session on Monday at WPPI. This is a chance to sit down and learn anything you want; marketing, photoshop, workflow, shooting, pricing, a business or portfolio critic or etc… Maybe even a little Bourbon knowledge will be shed. I’m only doing one so consider it your very own private four hour workshop. If you are a husband and wife team you can both come. Then consider me as friend and a source for advise or tips in the future!
