Last week I shot two killer engagement sessions and this was the first one in downtown LA. Erin and TJ had a two part engagement session; one at Rrivreworks, which is a prop house that does amazing set ups. We were going for a 40′s style shoot to use for their ‘Save the Dates’. Then after a break we finished up south of downtown around some warehouses and finally pulling in the skyline on the edge of dark. Their wedding should be an amazing event next year at the St. Regis! Here are a few of my favorites from the day, enjoy…

hey victor,
i’ve lived in l.a. all my life and do not have a clue where that bridge is!!! i’d love to go there. do you remember where it was? streets/address?
it’s funny how i live here and have never been there!! thanks and i appreciate your talent! you are extremely gifted!
Always been admiring your work first time to comment on a shoot. This session was insane. Where did you take those graffiti shots? Don’t see many collaborative back-to-back pieces anymore.
Everything working right here with the lighting, density, balance, etc all there. You can tell the couple is into it and it shows in every single shot.
Remarkably, the pictures could be from a personal memoir. The images look like they are taken throughout their lifetime only the couple stays young and beautiful. Wonderfully done and excellent execusion because you can really see life and love in every shot.
The third to last image with the skyline is gorgeous!
These are seriously stunning. Amazingly yummy light in every single one.Awesome job!
TJ,
That could possibly be the best comment I have ever received in the blogging era! I have an awesome time with you guys as well. Thanks for turning me on to R23 too. I look forward to all the work we have in the near future, with the ‘Save the Date’ and engagement book! vcs
Hi Victor!
I can’t tell you how much fun we had that day! The Rrivreworks location was outstanding; we really could not have asked for more. And then stumbling upon the various urban murals throughout the artist loft district of Downtown was exciting – especially when we drove by later to find some local “artists” retouching (aka tagging) the walls where we had previously shot! :-O Well, the pictures are amazing and I really appreciate the variety and texture of the different backdrops. Thanks again for everything and we look forward to our wedding day!

Yeah, we had a great day! It was a blast just hanging around and exploring downtown some more.
I love this shoot! You captured the skyline and the couple beautifully!
