“Chicago, chicago that toddling town
Chicago, chicago Ill show you around – I love it”
Alicia and Brett had a great wedding last Saturday! It was just one of those day. You know the kind where everything went our way! Time, locations, weather… We started on Michigan Ave. at the Intercontinental Hotel which by the way has a Zeppelin landing dock… I learned that on the river boat architecture tour that I highly recommend!!! Anyway, most of the wedding party and guest were staying here. The wedding count was 175 and about 110 were from out of town. Alicia is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and Brett from St. Louis. They had people from Sweden, Hong Kong, and coast to coast. The hotel was an awesome place to shoot. On the 12th floor there was a killer pool and it provided a secluded place to do the first meeting on a busy Memorial Day weekend. I also stole a few shots of Alicia as we were waiting for Brett. Kenny Kim shot with me all day and we had a great time! After a short stop at the beach and in the Fulton Market area we head for the conservatory. Check out some of my favorite shots from the day, it was tough to chose. So CLICK HERE for the SLIDESHOW.

Beautiful wedding, beautiful shoot! Where was the ceremony held???
Victor – AMAZING photos! Thank you so much for everything. I’ve given your name out to at least half a dozen potential new clients. Everyone loves the photos. Can’t wait to see how the rest turn out…

Victor,
That last sepia shot is surreal! Incredible. I love the ones towards the top. Those yellow walls with the huge windows are fantastic. I love the composition and how nicely backlit that image is. Great work, you guys did an awesome job. Take care and I hope all is going well.

Melissa, that was the John Hancock, there’s a nice bar on the top!
Jo, I know, I know… I’ve been swamped this spring. I’m going to step it up a bit this summer!
Sue, thanks! I love shooting in any city. You just have to search for the good spots!
Spectacular, Victor!
Always an inspiration. And it goes to show that you don’t have to be on the coasts to shoot a gorgeous wedding! Love your work!
Amazing as ever – but I have a complaint. YOU DON’T BLOG ENOUGH
Beautiful Victor! I love the one of them kissing in front of the Sear Tower (or is the Hancock building…I never know!) And the sky during the ceremony is fantastic!
That sky! Incredible!
