Robert and Megan’s wedding was last week at Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado Canyon in Orange County. I love this location it feels so secluded and I can’t get enough of the wildlife! And I do mean wildlife; Zebras, turtles, ducks, many exotic birds and especially the four tigers!!!! Anyway, it was an awesome wedding all around. Melody Walker did a fabulous job coordinating the day and we had lots of fun shooting the couple and bridal party. One of the bridesmaids (Ericka) second shoots for my buddy Joe Latter and her wedding was last month, congrats! Enjoy a few of my favorites…

We had a great wedding last Friday at La Venta Inn! I had the pleasure of shooting with Marisa Holmes and we had a blast. La Venta is a tough place to shoot with a large group and the weather there is unpredictable to say the least. However, we had a fabulous day and a fun group to work with too! Jennifer Katz of Fiore Designs provided the awesome flowers and bouquets. Check out a few of my favorites from the day…

I shot Lindsay and Steven’s wedding last weekend at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. We had a very laid back and beautiful day to photograph. It was very smooth sailing! Nearly all of the guest were from out of town; Lindsay grew up in Kansas and Steven in New Jersey. They both landed out here in the entertainment industry. We had a great crew that included: Bobby Vegal Floral, Shannon Berg of Mary Dann Wedding & Party Coordinators, The Jame Gang Band of West Coast Music, Isabel Gonzalez Videographer, Cake Divas, and Cynthia Kendall on Hair and Make-up. Below are a few of my favorites and CLICK HERE for a link to the slideshow, enjoy!

It’s the kids spring break this week so we decided to take them north to Yosemite and just get away from concrete and freeways for a few days. We have a fun week planned with swimming, rock climbing, hiking, and a steam train ride into the mountains! Below are a few shots from yesterday and today, enjoy…

It started a bit cloudy on Saturday in South Pasadena but the rain held off. Katrina was getting ready at an amazing house with lots of areas to shoot. After photographing the bridal party and couple we headed to the church in San Marino for the family and ceremony shots. Tyrone is a huge USC fan so his two nieces were dressed as Trojan cheerleaders/flowergirls! After the ceremony we made a quick trip to “Oldtown” Pasadena for a few urban shots with the couple. Then my favorite part of the night was when the USC Band busted in after the grand entrance. Nicely coordinated by Kelley Gin to keep 15 people dressed as Trojans with huge instruments hidden! Below are a few of my favorites from the day….

Cool shoes, I love when the brides go outside the normal white and cream. The ring shot was on the front door knob!

Last week I attended an event at the Oviatt Penthouse that was held by Tres LA. They along with the help of Carrisa Jones of JL Designs and Events and Leila Khalil of Be Inspired Events invited and hosted about 40 wedding and event specialists. The decor looked amazing and with a rooftop setting among the buildings of downtown simply added to the ambiance. I can’t even to begin to explain the outstanding five-course dinner which was printed on some crazy menus made by Mimio. Some other people to note in attendance; Wildflower Linens, The Lighter Side, Jes Gordon Events, Inside Weddings, LA Weddings, and many more…
