Skirball Cultural Center Wedding, Los Angeles – Kira and Peter

After Kira and Peter’s snowy engagement session the wedding was quite the opposite. It was really hot for a Saturday in March. We were just off the 405 at the Skirball Cultural Center. The bridal party got ready at the Luxe Hotel and we did the first meeting there as well. Kira and Peter had a Asian theme going for the wedding with lots of entertainment for the guest; including Taiko Drummers, Lion Performance, and Polynesian Dancers! Wow! We also had a great team to work the wedding: Kelley Gin with Picture Perfect Events, Alex and Julie Hill with Elysium Productions, Cake Divas, Orbit One DJ and Commerce Flowers.

Hi Victor!
It was a pleasure having you as our photographer. We had a great time with your family and enjoyed your company. The slideshow was such a hit with all our friends and family. Your talent and eye for the shot are one like no other!

To everyone else: As a first hand witness, Victor is truly the butterfly whisperer. If it wasn’t for the time constraints, we have no doubt that Victor would have lit a hoop on fire and had them fly back and forth for Alex & Julie!

BTW Breakdance lessons start monday. pass it on to Alex :)

Beautiful, beautiful pictures…you can’t help but smile when looking at these photos….purely amazing.

Joe, look out for Vic’s newest training video on ‘flow posing with butterflys’! I was there to watch Vic coax that butterfly into position. Vic is to training butterflys what Siegfried and Roy are to training tigers. Let’s hope his career doesn’t end suddenly with an angry moth mauling incident!

Seriously though, great shoot Vic…always a pleasure!

Alex.

Thanks to all for making this the most wonderful day for my daughter and Peter, the newest member to our family. If this is just a preview, I can’t wait to see the rest.
Kira & Peter are very fortunate to have so much to begin their lives together. All of you had made a difference by capturing the moments that will enrich their everlasting love in their marriage.

Joe, you didn’t know I was a butterfly whisperer?

Hey Brian, it was extremely hot for March! I made my assistants run through the misting wall at Skirball to cool off.

Melissa, Thanks for the blog love. We had a fun shoot. The cherry blossom theme was part of their invitations so it was a cool shot for them.

Weezer, you can’t beat Grandpa!!!

Kelley, a big THANK YOU to you too! We couldn’t have done it without you. See you next Saturday.

Hey Jen, Kira just exudes happiness and love. She was sooo fun to photograph!
