Sara and Scott – Montage

It’s always great when everything comes together at a wedding! Beautiful day, Montage, awesome couple, it’s a formula for success… It didn’t hurt having the line-up from Sunday either: Jeannie Savage, White Lilac, It’s All About the Cake, Elysium Productions, James Gang Band, and of course Jaime Snyder from the Montage. Sara looked gorgeous, I loved the stud and bead work on her dress and she finished it with a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes. The details were all there in chocolate and light blue! Scott is originally from Cincinnati so very close to my home. He even had a local ice cream brought in for the rehearsal dinner. Speaking of food and Cincinnati, that’s where my favorite BBQ chip comes from called Grippo’s, check them out online, you can mail order!

So check out some for the shots, enjoy! Please feel free to leave a comment…

Caitlin,

The wishing tree was really cool! I do love that shot as well, it’s just an interesting perspective with the branches and crystals hanging down. vcs

Hey Katrina,
It’s been awhile, good to hear from you! I wanted to let you know I will be speaking at the Minneapolis PPA next April, so I hope you can make it. Anyway, to answer you question about the ring shot…

On my ring shots I use the Canon 50mm f/2.5 Macro. And on this particular shot it the settings were: ISO 100, f/5.0, 1/125 sec camera set on Manual. For the finish just a simple ‘S’ curve in Lightroom. vcs
