Saturday was Lillian and Eric’s wedding in Pasadena. The ceremony was at a huge church in Glendale with beautiful stained glass. I worked with my good buddies from Elysium and one of the coolest bands I have yet to meet, In Soul! The wedding and reception finished by 4 PM so we headed down to “Old Town” Pasadena to get some moody evening shots with the brick alleys I know so well and a couple new spots too! Enjoy…

It was a good ring weekend.

This shot was by the 7/11 on the corner, you can see the church steeple in the background.

Do you see me? I would have put my couple up there for the shot but it was a bit of a climb. Below is one of the shots I got from my efforts.

Not Lens Baby, shoot and zoom – zoom and shoot.

My personal favorite from the day. I just love the composition and the elements of this photo: brick, conduit on the wall, odd shape window with iron bars, window box with ivy, ambient light from inside cafe… Did I use my handly Sunpac light, no. The warm light on the couple is coming from a car’s headlights as they are paying their bill in the adjacent parking structure.
