Wedding
Saturday was Lillian and Eric’s wedding in Pasadena. The ceremony was at a huge church in Glendale with beautiful stained glass. I worked with my good buddies from Elysium and one of the coolest bands I have yet to meet, In Soul! The wedding and reception finished by 4 PM so we headed down to “Old Town” Pasadena to get some moody evening shots with the brick alleys I know so well and a couple new spots too! Enjoy…
It was a good ring weekend.

This shot was by the 7/11 on the corner, you can see the church steeple in the background.

That’s a rainbow of colored light!

The In Soul cats!

Do you see me? I would have put my couple up there for the shot but it was a bit of a climb. Below is one of the shots I got from my efforts.

Not Lens Baby, shoot and zoom – zoom and shoot.

My personal favorite from the day. I just love the composition and the elements of this photo: brick, conduit on the wall, odd shape window with iron bars, window box with ivy, ambient light from inside cafe… Did I use my handly Sunpac light, no. The warm light on the couple is coming from a car’s headlights as they are paying their bill in the adjacent parking structure.

Here are a few shots from Saturday’s wedding in Irvine. Scott is in the Marines and I loved that he dressed out for the wedding. It looks great in the photos. It’s always nice to provide a quality service to those that serve us and our country!

Yesterday I shot my friend Jesse’s wedding out in Chino at a place called “Planes of Fame.” It was awesome! We got up close and personal with all the planes in the yard and the hangers, we had the run of the place anything we wanted to do, except fly the planes of course… There were quite a few people from APU there and it was great seeing some old friends including my buddy Eric “Jorgen” Sampson. Check out some of my favorites below, this album will have great style staying with the vintage aviation theme. I’ll post it when it gets designed, enjoy!

Here are a few shots from Saturday. We had an awesome time shooting this one. I at least knew twenty people at the wedding! Check out the post below to see four of my couples that were at the wedding, including Jake and Nicole. I also worked with a good crew which always helps make the day flow. Among the talent was Alex and Jeff from Elysium and Jason Jass from Visions Entertainment. All the decor was created in house at seven-degrees and they did an outstanding job!

Pasadena is definitely one of my favorite cities in California. Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful work of Songi in a mansion on Oak Knoll in Pasadena. Below are just a few of my favorites and hopefully a couple shots will make the cut for his new ad spots. I’m in New York City this week so check back for some fun shots in the city!
